We are going to donate whole blood at Childrens Hospital in the Longwood Medical Area. It's highly accessible via pubilc transportation (Green E, D, #66 bus, #59 bus, #CT2 bus) and garage parking is free all day long for persons who give blood. facebook page.

At 11 am we will brunch at Bertucci's (Italian Restaurant) across the street from the hospital and garage (map). After lunch we will walk over the hospital to give our blood.

Our church will host a party to help fight homelessness. (Yeah, we are differnt kind of church.) Everyone is invited! If you are reading this, you are invited.  (1) We will be collecting clothing to to donate to the Francis House, a local homeless shelter. Bring clothing to give that  you hardly wear and come dressed in that one thing you just couldn't spare. (2) After you meet a few new people and grab a bite to eat, we will be painting. The paintings will be displayed at JP Licks Brigham Circle and the proceeds of the painting will go direclty to another local homeless shelter, the Boston Rescue Mission. What a night. Donate your clothing and creativity! Join us in making a difference. If you wold like to be helper for this cause we will need people to bring food, beverages, greet, welcome, take pictures, video, make fylers, transport the clothing, help install the artwork, make description cards for displying the work, tell their friends about the party, etc.
